๐ŸŽฌ [INT. PASTOR OLU’S OFFICE – DAY]
A modern office, brightly lit, white walls.

PASTOR OLU
(Smiling calmly, prays with the couple)
Thank you both for coming. I understand that this wasn’t an easy step to take, especially for you, Kola, as the head of your home. But you must understand that a head without a genuine ‘spiritual head’ will eventually head into a ditch. So, I'm glad that you both agreed to come.

TOPE
(sighs, eyes red)
Sir, can you imagine that we’re still living together… but it feels like we’re not married anymore. No affection, no conversation. For weeks now, not even a real kiss. He’s always busy working.

KOLA
(defensive)
Excuse me.sir, man of God… She's taking this matter too far. Sincerely, I’m doing my best for the family. It's just that the demands at work these past few weeks don’t give room for chit-chat. She knows I’m building for our future.

PASTOR OLU
(Smiles broadly)
It's fine. You’re doing well, Brother Kola. But can I ask you a question — what future exactly are you building if you allow your home to crumble before it arrives?

Kola lowers his eyes. Tope glances at him, concerned.

PASTOR OLU (CONT’D)
Let me tell you a simple truth, my friend — a lot of men are succeeding in business today but, unfortunately, their family life is in shambles. Almost everywhere you turn, there is one troubled or an already failed marriage… Why? Because many modern couples think that love runs on autopilot. But it doesn't. Just like work and business, your marriage needs daily investment of things like time, touch, tenderness.

TOPE
Exactly, sir. Right now I feel invisible in my own matrimonial home. Sometimes… I wonder if Kola still loves me.

KOLA
I do love her, sir. It’s just been… a lot lately. Staff resigning, deadlines. But in all honesty, I didn’t think it was this bad.

PASTOR OLU
I can see that you didn't set out to cause your wife this current stress. But know that distance doesn’t start with silence — it starts with the shift of the heart. The good news, however, is that: healing is always possible, if both parties are willing.

(He turns a page in his Bible.)

Please let’s read together — 1 Peter chapter 3 verse 7:
"Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife..."

And Ecclesiastes chapter 4 from verse 9 to 10 says:
"Two are better than one… for if they fall, one will lift up his companion."

PASTOR OLU (CONT’D)
Brother Kola, will you try again — intentionally — daily? To win the heart of your darling wife, like you once did?

KOLA
(softly)
Yes, Pastor… I didn’t realize I was losing her while chasing success. I will see that I balance things moving forward.

TOPE
Thank you, daddy. You have been quite helpful. I will also see that I'm more patient with my husband. I’ll support him more, but I just want to feel seen… and loved.

PASTOR OLU
Let’s pray.

The couple bow their heads. Pastor Olu leads a heartfelt prayer for restoration and renewed love. After the prayer, he gives them a “7-Day Marital Bliss Restoration Plan” – a simple guide for daily check-ins, prayer together, affection, and one weekly date to keep the fire of love burning…

TOPE
(Laughs in excitement)
Me too, my love… I think I feel like a new bride all over.

๐ŸŽฌ INT. CHURCH FOYER – SUNDAY

The couple meet Pastor Olu after service. Kola shakes his hand firmly.

KOLA
Thank you.so much, man of God. You didn’t just counsel us… you reignited the love and affection I had for my wife from the beginning. Our home is blissful again.

TOPE
(smiling brightly)
We’re friends again, sir. And it feels like we’re falling in love… all over. Thank you my Pastor, may God bless you with more wisdom, in Jesus' name, Amen.

PASTOR OLU (Final Words)
“No marriage is too cold for God’s warmth to restore. A fading or already lost connection can be rebuilt, if only both parties are sincerely ready to submit themselves to spiritually sound counsel — and take the right steps, one intentional day at a time. Go in peace. You are blessed!”
