Wonders shall never end! An Edo State based pastor, Henry Ojochunu Ekukpe, has left people hanging their heads in shock after he stabbed his wife to death and penned down a note before disappearing.
Pastor Ekukpe has allegedly stabbed his wife, Patience Ekukpe, 29, in the presence of their 6-month-old baby and escaped, leaving behind a note with 10 questions, apparently meant for his wife to answer...
The incident happened at their house at No. 19 Uloko Street, Okpoghe Quarters, in Eyaen, New Aduwawa, Benin, Edo state.
According to police, a manhunt has now been lunched for Henry, a pastor at the Mountain of Victory and Fire Deliverance Ministry (aka Power and Prophetic Church).
The couple got married in September 2014 but had issues that made the wife leave their matrimonial home. Henry reportedly invited Patience under the disguise that he wanted to resolve their crisis and then killed her in front of their toddler. After he carried out the gruesome murder, he penned down a note.
The Pastor's note to his murdered wife reads:
“Have we ever in life went to beg for food ever since we got married?
Has your mother ever brought food for us to eat one day because of hunger?
Have I not told you at the beginning that I hate someone insulting me?
"In the first place, did you really come out with your own full mind?
Did you come to marry me because of money or for who I am?
Who gave you the order to pack your property away from our home?
Who is your adviser in this marriage that is polluting your mind against me?
"You always pray that God should help you to eat the fruit of your labour? So, no man has the power to take one’s life but today we are going together. So how do you feel now?”
- It appears there were family interference in their marriage, but that is not enough for this mess...at all!

That was too extreme even though some marriages could be so frustrating.
ReplyDeleteHe may be a Pastor but without the spirit of God in him

ReplyDeleteNot everyone who is married should be married.
ReplyDeleteMost pple don't even have the patience to deal with a child talk more of a woman.
So because of insult, you killed ur wife?
God knows the best, may her soul rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteHope this Pastor has not committed suicide too with this last statement "So, no man has the power to take one’s life but today we are going together” the rate at which couple end up this day is alarming, in those days marriage lasted till death do them part but today its either you hear husband kills wife or vice versa & divorce. However if this man is still alive, people should ask him before been convicted that what has the death of the wife brought to him & the innocent six months old baby she left behind.
ReplyDeleteSad
ReplyDeleteY murder her, of wuh gud is her death 2 him, can he tk kia of d babi himself..inumidun
ReplyDeleteToo bad... No matter the interference, he shouldn't have killed her
ReplyDeleteGod have mercy
ReplyDeleteI don't think is a real parstor Maybe he has used the wife for another thing if not he should have kill himself bcos he said both of them will die so how come he now ran away. I pray that the almighty God will intervaine in all the marriages of nowaday bcos killing of husband or wife is getting too much.May God help us.
ReplyDeleteI don't think is a real pastor, maybe he has used the wife for another thing if not he will not take law into his hand.and their is nothing wrong in what the woman has done by parking her out of the house, am very sure their is something between them which is only known to God.
