And that country is Monaco, a sovereign state which is governed by constitutional monarchy. Monaco is the second smallest country in the world (bigger than only Vatican City), it occuppies an area of about 2.020 square kilometer, it is bordered by France on three sides and the Mediterranean sea on the eastern side.

Monaco was founded in 1297 and it has reportedly been ruled by the Grimaldi family since it creation. Although, the principality state was directly annexed to the First French Republic in 1793 during the French Revolution, it regained it independence and sovereignty in 1814, both of which were re-affirmed by the 1815 Treaty of Vienna.

- Monaco has a poverty rate of zero, according to reports, everyone in Monaco is living above the poverty line. There is no poor portion of people in Monaco as stated by CIA World Factbook. 

Also about 32% of Monaco's population are millionaires, this means almost 1 in every 3 person is a millionaire.

- Monaco is one of the wealthiest country in the world, the country is also the most expensive place in terms of real estate, due to limited land space, buying a house in Monaco is very expensive.

- Monaco has a population of almost 39,000 people and it is considered as the most densely populated country in the world.

Due to the land size of the country, 39,000 people living in a space of 2.020 km² is pretty crowded. According to reports, about 50,000 residents of France and Italy work in Monaco, increasing the country's population by more than double during working hours.

- Monaco does not have an airport.
People going to Monaco will have to use the closest international airport at Nice (in France). The country cannot afford to build an airport due to small land space. Nevertheless, there are heliports from where helicopters can take you or get you to the airport in a matter of minutes.

- Monaco is one of the safest countries in the world. 

- Monaco has a very high life expectancy rate of 89.5 years.

The most visited places in Monaco are Monte Carlo, the Oceanographic Museum and the Palace of the Prince.
