Governor Nyesom Wike had raised alarm over alleged plot to frame him, saying the leadership of Nigeria police was planning to plant foreign currencies and incriminating items in his house located in the Asokoro area of Abuja.
But when Vanguard reached out to the Rivers Police Command spokesman, DSP Nnamdi Omoni, he said he was not aware of the alleged plot.

it was even debunked yesterday by the force PRO jimoh mushood rather the the gang who attempted to kill dino melaye were paraded so if wike wants to go to abuja to relax from government work for 1 or 2days we will understand instead of saying he will be in abuja to wait for dem
