After a long silence, President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted from the UK where he is on vacation about a sad incident that took place in the house of one of his ministers.
Mr President commiserated with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung on the death of his wife, Mrs Briskila Dalung.
A statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja by Nneka Anibeze, the Special Assistant to the minister on Media, said the president commiserated with Dalung through telephone from London.
He prayed God to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest. Mr President, who expressed shock at the death of Mrs Dalung which came at an unripe age, prayed that God would forgive her sins.
NAN reports that he also prayed to God to give the family she left behind the fortitude to bear the loss. He promised to support the Dalung family in their moment of grief.
