That was how they passed about 100 Bills in one day last year after the election and the Bills had no effect as there were no concurrence from the Senate.
The House of Representatives on Tuesday, May 31, passed 13 bills within 20 minutes at the chambers. The bills were passed after they were read a third time. Hope they will have effect?
Below are the 13 bills:
1. A bill for an Act to amend the national judicial Institute Act.
2. A bill for an Act to Amend the prevention of crimes Act
3. A bill to amend the water resources Act
4. A bill to amend the endangered species Act
5. A bill for an Act to amend the agricultural and Rural management training institute Act
6. A bill for an Act to amend the telecommunications and postal offences Act
7. A bill for an Act to amend the treaty to establish the African Economic Community relating to the Pan-African parliament Act.
8. A bill for an Act to amend the utilities charges commission Act.
9.A bill for an Act to amend the chartered institute of stockbrokers Act.
10. A bill for an Act to amend the Petroleum Training institute Act.
11. A bill for an Act to amend the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency Act.
12. A bill for an Act to amend the quantity surveyors Act.
13. A bill for an Act to amend the bees (import, control and management) Act.
