APC Sacks Oshiomhole, Others With Buhari's Approval, Appoints New CTC Chairman

Some serious political developments played out on Thursday in Abuja, Nigeria's seat of power, with the likes of Adams Oshiomhole, Waziri Bulama sent parking from the party's headquarters.

Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Victor Giadom has dissolved the NWC led by Oshiomhole.



The National Secretary of the Senator Ajimobi-led NWC loyal to Oshiomhole and Bola Tinubu, Alhaji Bulama, was
among those prevented from entering the
National Secretariat of the party while Buhari's meeting with the Giadom-led faction was going on.

Bulama, who arrived at the Secretariat about 10:50 am in a black Toyota Land Cruiser Sports Utility Vehicle was stopped at the gate by armedpolicemen on duty. They told him point blank that they were acting on orders from above.


Consequently, the President Buhari backed faction led by Giadom has appointed the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni as the Chairman of APC caretaker committee and extraordinary national convention.
