A Senior Legislative Assistant with National Assembly, Abubakar Sani Doki, passed on yesterday as he collapsed at the national assembly.

Doki, an aide of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yussuf Lasun, was rushed to the national assembly clinic on a wheel chair by his son at about 10:00am on Monday.

Sadly, he gave up the ghost an hour later.

Doki, a bosom friend of Reps member, Ibrahim Babangida Mahuta, has been sick for sometime but was never hospitalized. The deceased hailed from Bungudu, Zamfara state.

He has since been buried according to Muslim rites. RIP!
