A young man had revealed on facebook how he tried to enter a China Supermarket in Abuja but was blocked. I observe that some Nigerians couldn't believe that such was happening in our own country.

Well, the update is that the management of the Chinese supermarket are claiming that Nigerians are denied entry into the premises allegedly because of their nefarious activities.
The management now said Nigerians are allowed to enter the supermarket individually but not in group.

The address of the supermarket is:

It's a residential building converted into a supermarket, no signboard but a Chinese decoration on the gate.

Chinco..... Stupid people
ReplyDeleteReally? That is your response to Nigerian criminal activities in a Chinese supermarket? Blame "Chinco" as "Stupid people"??? What do you expect from somebody who goes by "Harbolarkale" when his family's name is "Abolakale."
DeleteNa wa it's only Nigeria you can try such rubbish
ReplyDeleteArrant nonsense, dem get mind 2 dey do ds kain tin 4 our land..
ReplyDeleteNefarious my foot.dont nigerians rob nigerian malls,or don't Chinese rob Chinese malls?Isn't there a way to beef up security?rubbish.
ReplyDeleteAnd that is your justification for stealing and thievery? Shame on you!!!
DeleteIn our own country again?
ReplyDeletein my own dear country? hmmmmm na waoo
ReplyDeleteIf it is not their country, what gives anybody a [right] to steal from the grocery store?
DeleteSuch place should be closed down and all of them in that supermarket should be arrested, they can't come into our own country and dictate for us never is not done anywhere in the world, imagine
ReplyDeleteSays who? Mr. Jeff Kingsley Jr., you are an ethically compromised person. Check yourself before you ruin yourself! Who should be arrested? The thieves or the store owner? How would you feel and behave IF that was your own store and your fellow Nigerians were stealing you blind?
DeleteNot too good! Y shld dis chinko alienate us in our own land? Well na some naija cause am sha.
ReplyDeleteWhat a country is Nigeria for God's sake that our security men cannot detect this type of lawless and abnormality until a civilian cried out? The supermarket must be shut down immediately and the owner tried in a law court for racism. What an Insult on Nigerians. One mad man will Insult us in their country and they will still come here to insult us again?
ReplyDeleteReally now? Protecting his store from some Nigerian thieves that are [ruining] his business is "lawlessness and abnormality"? That you would think that this is about racism in Nigeria makes me question if you are a law abiding Nigerian citizen and also question if you are normal!!!
DeleteOk now
ReplyDeleteOk Ooo
ReplyDeleteWhat a nonses.....can they do this in their own country?
ReplyDeleteIn our own country again
ReplyDeleteWho is the security guard, is it private guard??
ReplyDeleteIf this is authentic, then it's a shame to Nigeria. Can such be tried in their country???

This is madness, in our own country? What is government, our human right lawyers doing about it ?
ReplyDeleteSome Nigerians are stealing the Chinese store blind, what exactly should the government and human rights lawyers do? Is stealing from the Chinese grocery store in Abuja a "human right" for the Nigerian thieves that have been stealing from the Chinese grocery store?
DeleteIDONBILIVIT! What an impunity a mere strangers calling us names in our fathers' land, such people would not have it lightly with Nigerians if it were to be in their country, if they can treat us like this in Nigeria. Government should investigate such claims & allegations against that Chinese supermarket but if it found to be true, government should shut the place down indefinitely.
ReplyDeletechinco. that's hw dey do.
ReplyDelete#Olu,can you see?
The most important issue here has yet to be addressed. WHY are Nigerians in Abuja [stealing] groceries in a Chinese Supermarket? Is the Chinese store owner in Abuja allowed to treat a thief caught stealing in his store, the same way Nigerians treat a thief caught in the public market? Every comment here appears to condone stealing while blaming the Chinese owner who is only really trying to survive in an economy that is already crumbling. Everyone here blaming the Chinese store owner needs to realize that they may be ethically compromised . . . I have seen YouTube videos of Nigerians stealing in China and defrauding . . . what should happen to those Nigerians. I have seen videos of Nigerians that [own] stores and businesses in China and they do not have complaints about their Chinese hosts stealing from them in China. ONLY in Nigeria will thieves blame those they are stealing from, for their criminal behaviors. I suggest that honest Nigerians in Abuja ensure protection to this Chinese store owner and send a message to the thieves who have been stealing from this Chinese store owner, that they will be severely dealt with.
