The respected novelist, poet and dramatist, died at the Good Heart hospital in Port Harcourt around 3:45m on Wednesday. He was 82. May his good soul rest in peace. Amen!
Some of Captain Elechi Amadi's works include: The Concubine, The Great Ponds, Isiburu, Sunset in Biafra, Dance of Johannesburg, Peppersoup, The Road to Ibadan, The Slave, Estrangement and Woman of Calaber.

Great Author, you made my seconday school days memorable with your works of art,
Meeting you inperson is one thing i did not achieve but i am well convinced that holding and reading your works is more like meeting you inperson!
