In his official reaction to the saga which has generated a lot of heat on social media, Emir Sanusi distanced himself and Kano emirate from the purported abduction of Ese Oruru by her lover. Sanusi II said “I have ordered the sharia commission to liaise with the office of Deputy Inspector General of police zone to repatriate and reconcile the teenager with her family immediately”
Ese Oruru was allegedly abducted in Opolo, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, by her lover, Yunusa an indigene of Kano sometimes in August, 2015.
The matter is controversial as the teenage girl willing followed Yunusa but without her parents consent.
If the abduction of Ese was in Aug 2015 then is different from the similar story that I heard in 2013 from Ordinary Ahmed Musa (EMBELEMBE) am sorry about that. Thank God the Emir Muhammadu Sanusi has cleared the air on that, because this would have tarnished the image of emirate council if not properly addressed on time.

ReplyDeleteMy phone mess up this morning Wen I saw this but every body have seem it now that police we have is police of big man not police of every body my Emir of kano, Muhammad sanusi knows about this since last year and IG of police is away of it too but bc sanusi knows about it every one keep quite till now, so IG of police don't no his job he is waiting for other before he will react is for everyone to see the evil that is happening in our land day by day in d name of religion, Nigeria have made religion to be stronger then laws that guide the nation, now they ask to return the girl what is the girl is pregnant? What about yunusa who kidnapped the girl? We are watching to see this game how they will play it bc they has be doing it long time but this one have bring them out.
