Fred Amata Is the New President of Directors Guild Of Nigeria

Some people had complained that he's an actor and not a director but Fred Amata has directed some movies and he went in for the election and has president of the Directors Guild of Nigeria, DGN.

He was declared President-Elect of the guild, after defeating his close rival, Lancelot Imasuen with 5 votes. He got 48 votes, while Lancelot got 43 votes. Dickson Ireogbu and Kingsley Omefe also got 3 votes and 7 votes respectively.

Fred is to succeed the former president, Andy Amenechi, who has stepped down. Congrats!
