🎞️ MONTAGE – BEFORE COUNSELING

* INT. BEDROOM – NIGHT: A woman in her late 30s, MRS. TAYO, turns endlessly on her bed, clutching her waist in pain. Her husband looks on helplessly.

* INT. HOSPITAL – DAY: Doctors check her vitals, scan results, and shake their heads in confusion. The senior doctor says softly, “Madam, medically, there’s nothing wrong.”

* EXT. FAMILY COMPOUND – DAY:  Neighbours whisper behind her back, some suggesting witchcraft, others blaming her past lifestyle.

* INT. KITCHEN – EVENING: Mrs. Tayo struggles to cook dinner... she drops a pot from sudden chest pain, tears in her eyes.

MRS TAYO’S TROUBLES: Strange Pains. No Diagnosis. No Rest.

🎬 SCENE OPENS TO INT. PASTOR OLU’S OFFICE – DAY

The room glows warmly with LED lighting. Pastor Olu sits prepared for the day, Bible open. Mrs. Tayo enters slowly, visibly weak, clutching her waist.

PASTOR OLU

(standing, kindly)

Hello Mummy Tayo, hope all is well? You are really looking good, let me not say the opposite. What happened? 

MRS. TAYO

(teary, holding her chest)

Daddy, your daughter is dying o… 

PASTOR OLU

You should know better than to speak in such a worldly tone. Sit down please, and be at peace in God's presence.

MRS. TAYO

I'm sorry, daddy. It's just that I really don’t understand what is happening to me. Doctors say I am fine. But these pains… they torment me day and night.

PASTOR OLU 

And why is it that neither you nor your husband have called me?

MRS. TAYO

Sorry, daddy. My husband said we don't need to stress you since you just came down from Prayer Mountain. He said you needed rest to recover strength.

PASTOR OLU

(nods with compassion)

There are afflictions that medicine cannot diagnose, because they are not of the flesh but of the spirit. So, tell me, how long has this been?

MRS. TAYO

Five days straight now. At first, I thought it was stress. But now… it feels like I am carrying a heavy chain inside me.

PASTOR OLU

(opens Bible, reads aloud)

What did the Bible say in Matthew 11 verse 28? It says and I read: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

My dear Mummy Tayo, there are doors that sometimes we open unknowingly. They must be shut the right way, in order to avoid strange things like this. Have you gone through any trauma or unhealthy relationships in the past?

MRS. TAYO

(looks down, ashamed)

Daddy...ehm. Maybe, before my marriage… I was involved with a man deeply into charms and strange practices. But we broke up and I started attending Church. I thought I had moved on… 

PASTOR OLU

(closes eyes, discerning)

Mummy Tayo, I sense defilement from a dark realm. But Jesus is a healer and a restorer. Today, we will break every tie and cleanse your spirit. And by the power in the Blood of Jesus, you will be free indeed.

(Pastor Olu rises, lays hand gently on her head, begins to pray.)

PASTOR OLU

• Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I take authority over this situation. I break every covenant and invisible chain binding this daughter of Yours to the evil realm. Let fire fall and cleanse her body, soul, and spirit right now... You strange pain, from wherever you are sent, release her now! You evil yoke, break now! Daughter of Zion, your body is free, in the mighty name of Jesus (Amen)…

(Mrs. Tayo shakes, weeping, then suddenly exhales deeply and grows calm.)

MRS. TAYO

(whispering)

Daddy, the heaviness, the pain… it’s as if something is leaving, I mean like discharging from my body.

PASTOR OLU

(smiling) 

That is the hand of the Lord. Henceforth, you will also need to live in purity, guard your heart, and avoid old entanglements. I recommend you also go for another medical check-up.

🎞️ MONTAGE: 

* INT. BEDROOM – NIGHT: Mrs. Tayo sleeps peacefully beside her husband.

* INT. HOSPITAL – DAY: Doctors check her again, astonished, with the senior doctor saying: “Madam, your body is perfectly fine. How did it happen?”

* EXT. MARKET – DAY: She walks briskly, carrying groceries, laughing freely with neighbors.

* INT. CHURCH – SUNDAY SERVICE: Mrs Tayo testifies joyfully, “To the Glory of God, I am free! No more pain!”

Congregation claps and praises God.

PASTOR OLU (Final Words)

Friends, afflictions without diagnosis can sometimes be the enemy’s chain in disguise. But in Christ Jesus, there is total deliverance. If you are going through strange battles, do not lose hope. Run to the throne of grace — there, you will find healing and rest. The power of God is still real, and His mercy is still fresh every morning. Stay strong, and stay in Christ.
