A document recently released showed that senior police officers, officers from other security agencies and judiciary officials also got NDDC contracts worth billions of naira over the years.
This latest disclosure is in addition to the list sent by the minister of Niger Delta affairs, Godswill Akpabio, to House of Representatives speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, which also included names of some members of the House of Representatives as contract beneficiaries of the commission
The Nation reported that the document contains project descriptions, local government areas, proposed contractors, contact details (including phone numbers), project sources and dates the contracts were awarded.
