New Photos from Otedola Bridge Tanker Explosion Scene in Lagos After The Disaster

All is almost set for normal activities to resume at the Otedola Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway where at least 9 people were killed and over 54 vehicles burnt after a fuel tanker fell and exploded there yesterday. More pics from the scene...

The tanker which was loaded with PMS, had a brake failure while trying to overtake a vehicle before crashing and exploding in the process. Emergency responders who worked all night are currently removing the tanker from the road ready for opening up to vehicles. All the carcass of cars have been moved away to another location.
