Embattled senate president, Bukola Saraki, on Thursday cried out over media reports that he may be in the process of dumping the APC and returning to his former party, the PDP.
The speculation followed Saraki’s appearance at the PDP Senate’s caucus meeting on Wednesday.
But Saraki has come out to say he remained committed to the ideals and agenda of the APC.
In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Social Media, Bamikole Omishore, Saraki said he is not prepared to leave a party he “helped midwife and worked for its victory in the 2015 elections”.
Omishore claimed that Mr. Saraki attended the PDP event in “his official capacity as Senate President and chairman, National Assembly”.
“He attended the end of session event of the PDP caucus yesterday evening and spent only 30minutes before leaving the members to continue with the event."

The earlier the better because it is eventually going to happen. He doesn't serve any usefulness by remaining in APC neither is there any scheme or abracadabra he can bring on the party, the whole world is aware of his trademark and identity.

ReplyDeleteGo back now, who is stopping u?
ReplyDeleteHis cup of kunu..
ReplyDeleteIt will tantamount to political suicidal for Senate President Saraki to dump APC for PDP, considering all the drama that came to play before he left PDP, his role in APC to wrestle power from PDP, also the PDP role on his emergence as Senate President. The best he could do is to join or form a new mega party.
ReplyDeleteOf what use is his continuing stay in APC when his soul is in PDP. It is better for him to decamp now so that he can have a large number of people that will love to follow him to prison
ReplyDeleteI think Is better for him.
ReplyDeleteI don't trust him
