Every Nigerian should be proud of this great stride. Last Saturday at Howard University in Washington D.C., out of the 96 graduating Doctor of Pharmacy candidates, 43 of them were Nigerians.
Not only that, 27 awards were presented, and 16 went to Nigerians.
U.S. President Barack Obama delivered the keynote address at the event. Howard University has the only dental and pharmacy colleges in the District of Columbia. The graduates represented 46 states and 35 countries. The youngest graduate at the ceremony was 20yrs old.
Nigerians have what it takes to rule the world. We shall get there!
I can't be proud of this......rather I will be proud when we build our universities to the standard that other countries will be rushing to study here.
