Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State is back of President Muhammadu Buhari matter again. But this time he said his criticisms of Mr President was not borne out of his hatred for him but out of his conviction that at 73, Buhari was not strong enough to lead a complex country like Nigeria.
Fayose said, “People say that I abuse Buhari, I am not abusing him because he is like my grandfather but I know the history. Eighty percent of people that voted for Buhari in the South-West did not know him. They are between 18 and 40. They voted because they wanted change desperately and I agree with them.
“Today, the PDP is no longer in government so they should stop blaming the PDP. They told us that dollars would become one to one with the naira. But where is that today? The regime of fuel subsidy is gone and we now have food subsidy. Queues are back at petrol stations.

"He left government 32 years ago so they did not experience his rule.

Whatever I say is divine. The next thing to happen will be the removal of the Kogi State governor. I have not lost a battle in my life and when I lost one, I came back to win.
“We have never had it so bad like in the last 12 months; electricity has gone to zero and we no longer have light in our houses. I am here to tell Nigerians that we are in the wrong direction because you cannot give what you don’t have. There is a time to retire because of the diminishing return on the functionality of the brain. At 75, my mother can do little.”
Governor Fayose, who spoke at an event organised by NUJ in Oyo State, also criticised the anti-corruption war of the Buhari administration, describing it as biased.

ReplyDeleteWhat warped reasoning is this? Why pity a state over the comments of a man. Are Fayose's comments false? Did he lie, is Nigeria better now. When bare facts are put before us, we should simply sit back and think through instead of making comments that are "off the mark".
Fayose the loud animal

ReplyDeleteBig mouth
ReplyDeleteFayose is sick and he needs help, i have said it before and will continue to do so. At no time in the history of governance in Nigeria have we had such an irresponsible being as a state Governor.
ReplyDeleteIt seems fayose has a weekly target.something like"i must find something unpleasant to say about buhari every week, else,i won't this vice-presidential ticket o.lol
ReplyDeleteFayose is 100% correct about Buharia. i love this line"you can't give what you don't have". Buhari has nothing upstairs, he could not pass ordinary WAEC, he has nothing to offer this country and that is the naked truth. Truth they said is always bitter. the peoples governor keep on doing the good work you are doing for i know it is not easy to be an opposing voice. God bless gov Ayo Fayose
ReplyDeleteThe God that created President Muhammad Buhari would continue to disgrace you even with the matured silence of PMB, until He finally makes you a by-word and a proverb of reproach. You are very unwise and an empty drum.
