Yinusa, who travelled from Bayelsa to Kano with 14yrs old Ese Oruru and married her without her parent's consent has been flown to Abuja with the teenage girl. Yinusa is said to be about 18yrs old. The Inspector General of Police will hand over Ese to her parents (mother) at police headquarters.

ReplyDeleteLet this be a lesson to all parents bc I know most this do hand u may not even no where ur child is and look for her for life without knowing that someone have took her away for marriage, and What most people fail to realise that black magic might be at work here. How could you explain a girl of 13yrs who knows nothing, running away with someone who is not even related to her. Do you just wake up and walk away from your parents, siblings, relations and education? Such things don't happen with clear eyes, and even the northeners know that. If he had wanted a genuine marriage, he would've contacted the girl's family, so he can be flogged the same way they flog others. Is he afraid of bayelsa koboko?
